Every year for Christmas, we are a bit prepared. Spring cleaning of the house, preparation of sweets, Decoration, Crib, Christmas Tree, shopping and all that stuff. 2015 Christmas was a bit of a laze, me being myself I almost left things for the last minute. We did a bit of shopping by the end of November, as I did not want to deprive M of the christmas feeling. Got him a couple of T-shirts and Jeans , so he started getting into the feel of the Festivities. I wore what my sis and parents presented me – an Anarkali Chudidhar ! J generally wears whatever he gets his hands on for Christmas.
We went for mid night mass at St. Marys Cathedral, York Place. The Church was crowded with at least 1500 people, we left home at about 11.30 pm and by the time we got back it was 2.30am. It was a special Bishop mass. There was a procession to the crib , where the little new born baby Jesus was laid. It was a lovely feeling. M generally sleeps through the entire mid night service, this year he slept entirely on J. When we received blessings from the priests after the service, M woke up and got a little tap on his cheek by the priest who was surprised assuming that the kid was still awake at 2.00am.
